Nomination of the course «Project Management for Construction Projects» for the KITE Award 2020

Jeffrey Hoffman, lecturer at the Chair of Infrastructure Management, is nominated for the KITE Award with his course “Project Management for Construction Projects”. Many congratulations!

by Sandra Jennifer Schmid

This project management course attempts to give the students a sample of what a real project is like, by setting roles within their team and giving them clear goals and deadlines. They constantly apply every concept that is being taught in the classroom onto their semester project.

In his course, Jeffrey Hoffman provides a lot of exciting information about organization, coordination, team and schedule management, goal setting and much more. Students also learn a lot about projects, such as the components of a project, the tools and project vocabulary.
