Research on Water Supply Resilience Selected for Emerald’s “Can we build a future we can’t predict?” Campaign
A study by Dr. Claudio Martani (ETH Zürich), Prof. Bryan T. Adey (ETH Zürich) and Dr. Jürgen Hackl (Princeton University) has been selected for Emerald Publishing’s mission campaign, “Can we build a future we can’t predict?” The featured work, originally published in 2022, proposes a new approach to investing in urban water supply infrastructure under conditions of deep uncertainty.

Adey's Chair of Infrastructure Management is pleased to announce that the article “Strategic planning of charging infrastructure for shared electric vehicles: A multi-phase stochastic approach using reinforcement learning” by Dr. Qiming Ye was published in the journal Sustainable Cities and Society.
Master Student Silvano Fuchs wins the Prix Litra Award
Master student Silvano Fuchs was awarded the prestigious Prix Litra for his Master Thesis on “Algorithm-based decision support for SBB network planning until 2100”. His Master thesis in the program of Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems at D-BAUG was supervised by PhD candidate Arnor Elvarsson and builds on research done at Prof. Bryan Adey’s Chair of Infrastructure Management.
