The Chair of Infrastructure Management, led by Prof. Bryan Adey and the Chair of Transportation and Mobility Planning, led by Prof. Eva Heinen are excited to announce the launch of the Sustainable Urban Transitions Lab, a collaboration between ETH Zürich and Bolt, as part of the Bolt Urban Fund programme.

Jin Rui Yap, a doctoral candidate at Prof. Bryan Adey’s Chair of Infrastructure Management at ETH Zurich and the Future Cities Laboratory Global, participated in the conference The Dynamics of Critical Infrastructures in Cities, organized by the Research Training Group KRITIS at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 19–21 March 2025.

David Garcia Sanchez presented TECNALIA: “From R&D to Certification for Construction Sector and More” at Bryan T. Adey's Chair of Infrastructure Management at ETH Zürich on Monday, 31 March 2025. 

TECNALIA is the largest applied research and technological development centre in Spain and a European benchmark and member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance.

Prof. Dr. Bryan T. Adey's Chair of Infrastructure Management would like to congratulate doctoral candidate Jin Rui Yap for having her article titled “Trends and opportunities in adaptive planning for the built environment: A literature review”  published in the Journal City and Environment Interactions.

The effective collaboration between the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and ETH Zürich made it possible to develop ready-to-use tools for hospital resilience operationalization in conflict-affected areas.

Doctoral candidate Yushu An, from Prof. Bryan T. Adey's Chair of Infrastructure Management, presented at the 3rd IACM Digital Twins in Engineering Conference &1st ECCOMAS Artificial Intelligence and Computational Methods in Applied Science (DTE & AICOMAS 2025), held from February 17 to 21, 2025, in Paris, France.

A new reserach article by Prof. Bryan T. Adey's Chair of Infrastructure Management titled "Project-Level Optimization of Repair Activities for the Recovery of Transportation Assets after Inland Flood Events" has been published in the Journal of Infrastructure Systems. 

Prof. Bryan Adey‘s Chair of Infrastructure Management took part in the kick-off event for a new EU project called RENOMIZE. Arnor Elvarsson attended the kick-off on January 21-23 in Klagenfurt, Austria, which is home to the project leaders Joanneum Research.
