Two new papers are published in the themed issue on defining, quantifying, measuring and modelling infrastructure service of the journal of Infrastructure Asset Management, featuring an editorial written by Professor Bryan Adey. The editorial explains that the exploitation of digitalisation in infrastructure management requires first to clarify what service is provided when the infrastructure is operated, it deteriorates, or it is maintained.

Yekenalem Abebe, who worked at the Chair of Infrastructure Management in 2019, has published his article "Sustainable Financing Strategies for Stormwater Infrastructure Management: A System Dynamic Model" about the research he has done at our Chair. Congratulations!

Jeffrey Hoffman, lecturer at the Chair of Infrastructure Management, is nominated for the KITE Award with his course “Project Management for Construction Projects”. Many congratulations!

Hamed graduated from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in railway transportation engineering with a focus on railway operations management. Before joining the Chair of Infrastructure Management, he collected experience in applications of operations research in the railway industry during the Master’s program and working in a railway transportation company in Iran.

Laura graduated from TU Dresden in Transportation Economics with a focus on econometrics. Before joining the chair of Infrastructure Management, she gathered experience in analyzing urban bicycle accidents during the Master thesis.
