Orlando Roman's presentation was titled “Using computational models to explore future scenarios and gain insights for urban planning: the case of the technological shift in transportation in Singapore” as part of Track 12: Futuring. In this work, an agent-based transport model (MATSim) and a surrogate model are used to explore a wide range of potential future scenarios and identify pathways for adapting a neighbourhood to the upcoming autonomous vehicles.
