Roberto Seixas presents at the Chair of Infrastructure Management!
Roberto Seixas, trainee at the Federal Swiss Railways SBB, talks about "Use of failure trees in bridge management" at the Institute of Construction and Infrastructure Management, ETH Zurich.
The Chair of Infrastructure Management of Prof. Bryan T. Adey would like to thank SBB trainee Roberto Seixas for agreeing to present on "Failure trees for a standardized risk assessment of SBB bridges" at ETH Zürich. The presentation will take place today, 15 February 2024, at ETH Zurich.
In his presentation he will talk about how failure trees can help in the risk assessment of SBB bridges, using a specific bridge example. Other examples of possible applications as well as the possibilities of extending the analysis to similar bridges, to other types of bridges and to feared events (e.g. structural failure) will also be part of his presentation.
