The Chair of Infrastructure Management of Prof. Bryan Adey (ETH Zurich) is organising a mini-symposium at ICASP14 in Dublin in collaboration with Prof. Alice Alipour (Iowa State University)
The mini-symposium entitled "Climate-resilient infrastructure networks: modelling and evaluating resilience enhancing interventions" will take place at the 14th International Conference on Applications of Statistics and Probability in Civil Engineering (ICASP14) in Dublin, Ireland from 9-13 July 2023. Submission of abstracts is now open.
This session will provide a platform for the involved researchers in the fields of risk and resilience of infrastructure networks to present their recent advancements, exchange their ideas, and interact in the charming city of Dublin. The session will be mainly focused on modeling and evaluating the effect of interventions on enhancing the resilience of infrastructure networks, including transportation system, electric power network, and water distribution, against spatially distributed climatic hazard events.
A short summary of the Mini-Symposium can be accessed via the conference website, as well as the document attached to this post. The mini-symposium is listed as “MS-39” in the list of Sessions & Symposia at the external page conference website.
All researchers and practitioners in the fields related to risk and resilience of infrastructure networks against climatic hazards are welcome and invited to submit their contribution to this session. The online submission of abstracts must be completed by August 29th, 2022.
Authors whose abstract is accepted will be then invited to submit a full 8-page paper (by January 30, 2023) All accepted papers will be indexed in SCOPUS.
We look forward to receiving your contribution!
