The fourth Infrastructure Asset Management Symposium (SIAM4) took place this year at the Northwestern University Transportation Center in Evanston, Illinois (USA). From 4 to 5 June, several researchers from different areas of Infrastructure Asset Management presented.

Dr. Saviz Moghtadernejad presented on the topic "Determination of Post-Disaster Restoration Programs for Road Networks
Using a Double-Stage Optimization Approach" in session 5 with focus on "Designing and Managing Infrastructure for Equity, Sustainability, and Resilience" and Prof. Dr. Bryan T. Adey talked about "Assessing the Effects of Intervention Free Periods on Railway Intervention Costs and Service" in the section "Managing Rail Infrastructure".
