This year's virtual IFORS will be held at Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea from August 23 - 27, 2021. The two presentations from the Chair of Infrastructure Management will be given under the heading "Maintenance scheduling and traffic capacity". The presentation by Prof. Bryan T. Adey entitled "An operations research supported methodology for the dynamic planning of construction and maintenance activities on railroad networks" deals with the first mathematically supported method for determining the coordinated construction and maintenance activities on railroad networks. The presentation of Dr. Marcel Burkhalter entitled "Using a two level network flow model with side constraints to develop optimal intervention programs" deals with the construction of a two level network flow model with side constraints to develop an optimal intervention program for railroad networks. The two levels represent the objects and the network.
