Prof. Dr. Adey presented his paper Consideration of Sustainability in the Management of Structures at The Structural Design Day in Goetheborg, Sweden on 27 November 2017.

The Institute of Construction and Infrastructure Management has awarded Doctoral and Master Thesis as well as the Helbling Prize for an excellent Master Thesis during a ceremony on 26 October 2017.

Qian Chen presented her papers “Robust IFC Files To Improve Information Exchange: An Application For Thermal Energy Simulation” and “A Finite Element Analysis Approach To Improve Interoperability For Thermal Energy Simulations” at the 9^th International Structural Engineering and Construction Conference held in Valencia, Spain from July 25 to July 26, 2017.

Sean Kerwin presented his publicatoin "Determination of Optimal Intervention Programs for a Water Distribution Network" at the LESAM 2017 conference held in Trondheim, Norway from June 20 to June 22, 2017.

The team of the infrastructure management group was at the frontline at “bike to work” and finished the event with 3698 kilometres driven in third place among all teams from the ETH Zurich.

Dr. Borja García de Soto presented his paper "Using a Tabu-search Algorithm and 4D Models to Improve Construction Project Schedules" at the Creative Construction Conference in Primošten, Croatia held during 19-22 June 2017.

Clemens Kielhauser has been invited to hold a guest lecture at TU Graz on the topic "Research perspective on Infrastructure Information Modeling". The guest lecture will be held on 31.05.2017 at 10:30 at Rechbauerstraße 12 HS VIII .
