Josia Meier

Josia Meier received his Master's degree in Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ETH Zurich. He wrote his master's thesis at the Chair of Infrastructure Management (IM). Using the example of a small Swiss regional railway network, the thesis shows that the calculation of optimised intervention programmes is possible for this infrastructure network and that it can be used in the infrastructure management process of the railway company. For this purpose, he used an optimisation algorithm developed at the Chair of IM. Before his studies, he completed an apprenticeship as a Civil CAD designer.
