EU Project RENOMIZE launches Kick-Off Event!
Prof. Bryan Adey‘s Chair of Infrastructure Management took part in the kick-off event for a new EU project called RENOMIZE. Arnor Elvarsson attended the kick-off on January 21-23 in Klagenfurt, Austria, which is home to the project leaders Joanneum Research.

The EU Project RENOMIZE aims to leverage know-how and engineering innovations from industry and academia to make steady strides for more sustainable and more efficient building renovation processes. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of novel building materials, pre-fabricated element production optimisations and innovative robotics solutions. As one of 16 consortium members, ETH Zurich will contribute a BIM-based construction process simulation tool, which will be an expansion of a tool developed during the doctoral studies of external page Prof Qian Chen.
Special thanks go out to the organisers of the kick-off meeting external page Christian Oswald, external page Ingrid Kaltenegger and external page Andreas Tuerk.
