How long can we wait until cycling infrastructure enables effective reduction of crashes and transport emissions?

It’s up to us.

We, and our elected policy-makers, shape the planning processes. Together with Prof. Bryan Adey, from the Chair of Infrastructure Management at ETH Zürich, Phd candidates Arnór Elvarsson and David Zani presented what makes efficient cycling infrastructure planning processes with examples from Canton Zurich at the Cycling Research Board Annual Meeting.

It was an engaging and interactive session with practitioners and academics in the room. To engage with stakeholders is central to the Chair's research at Future Cities Laboratory Global. A big shout-out to the session co-host Sascha Attia from Kanton Solothurn and the conference organiser Catherine Elliot and a big thank you to the external page Urban Cycling Institute.
