Doctoral candidate Orlando Roman returns from a research stay at TU Delft
Orlando Roman, doctoral candidate at Prof. Bryan Adey’s Chair of Infrastructure Management at ETH Zürich and the Future Cities Laboratory Global just returned from a research stay at TU Delft.
The research exchange was made possible by the ETH Zurich Doc.Mobility Fellowship and aimed to carry out part of his doctoral research with Prof. Jan Kwakkel at the Policy Analysis section of the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management.
Orlando Roman's research project at TU Delft is titled “Assessing spatial dynamics in the planning of urban systems under deep uncertainty” where advanced spatial clustering techniques were tested to discover relevant spatial scenarios through large ensembles of simulations of Land Use Cover Change (LUCC).
