PhD candidate Hossein Nasrazadani presents at the EMI Confernce in Chicago!
Hossein Nasrazadani, doctoral candidate at Prof. Bryan Adey’s Chair of Infrastructure Management, presented his work at the Engineering Mechanics Institute Conference (EMI), which took place from 28-31 May 2024, in Chicago, US.

In this work, he has developed a computation-free method for evaluating and ranking simulation-based stress tests for transport systems. The proposed methodology enables infrastructure managers to perform a screening analysis of the long list of potential stress tests for their system, prioritize them, and select a few to allocate computation resources for more detailed analysis.
The work was conducted in collaboration with Prof. Maria Nogal from TU Delft and Prof. Stergios Mitoulis from the University of Birmingham.
