Orlando Roman and Qiming Ye present at the FCL Global Conference in Zurich!
Qiming Ye and Orlando Roman, from Prof. Bryan Adey's Chair of Infrastructure Management, will present this Friday, October 13th at the FCL Global Conference in Zürich.
Urban areas are experiencing an unprecedented period of transformation, influenced by disruptive technology, socioeconomic shifts or environmental change. These growing uncertainties have prompted cities to rethink the planning of future land use and transportation infrastructure. To deal with these uncertainties, the Future Cities Laboratory (FCL) Global module “Adaptive Mobility, Infrastructure and Land Use” aims to investigate travel behaviour, modelling techniques and planning processes to integrate them into an adaptive system that responds to change.
Qiming Ye and Orlando Roman, from Prof. Bryan Adey's Chair of Infrastructure Management, will present this Friday, October 13th at the FCL Global Conference in Zürich. Qiming Ye will provide an overview of the “Adaptive Mobility, Infrastructure and Land Use” module and Orlando Roman will present a proof of concept study about identifying adaptive pathways for the technological shift in transportation by using the agent-based model MATSim.
Online registration is open and free.
