The aim of the IALCCE Symposium 2023 was to bring together all cutting edge research in the field of Life-Cycle Civil Engineering and related topics, to advance both the state-of-the-art and the state-of-practice in the field, and to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Four of our PhD students presented at the Symposium this year.

Arnór Bragi Elvarsson and Orlando Román García organized and chaired a session on Shaping Development Planning Processes for Infrastructure Systems under Future Uncertainty.

And PhD students Hamed Mehranfar and Steven Chuo organized and chaired a session on Exploiting Digitalization in Intervention Planning for Transportation Infrastructure.

Both sessions were well attended and the contributions were well received by the IALCCE community.
