Orlando Roman presents at the Urban Transitions 2022 Conference in Sitges, Spain!
The Urban Transitions 2022 conference on Integrated Urban and Transport Planning, Environment and Health for Healthier Urban Living took place in Sitges, Spain, from 8-10 November 2022. Our PhD student Orlando Roman represented the Chair of Infrastructure Management of Prof. Bryan T. Adey with a presentation at this year's conference.
Orlando Roman from the Chair of Infrastructure Management and the Future Cities Laboratory (FCL) Global presented at Elsevier’s Urban Transitions 2022 Conference “Integrating Urban and Transport Planning, Environment and Health for Healthier Urban Living” in Sitges, Barcelona on November 9th. His presentation titled: “Developing future planning scenarios by assessing the co-evolution of transportation networks and urban development” uses data-driven land use transition matrices and a cellular automata model to project potential future spatial scenarios by considering the influence of transport infrastructure and other urban development drivers.
