IBI Award Ceremony

The Institute of Construction and Infrastructure Management has awarded Doctoral and Master Thesis with the Bau und Infrastruktur-Förderungspreis der ETH Zürich as well as the Helbling Prize for an excellent Master Thesis during a ceremony on 22 October 2019.

The BI-Förderungspreis 2019 has been awarded to:

Raúl Ricardo Rentería Manzano for his Master Thesis «An aerial perspective for the future in the construction industry: How drones could monitor progress and quality with real-time data on a commercial building»;

Mathias Pawlowsky for his Master Thesis «Geology change detection in mechanized tunneling using machine learning»; und

Dr. Jürgen Hackl for his Doctoral Thesis «Stochastic spatial and temporal network modeling for infrastructure systems».
