2019 Conclave on Automating Construction Projects

On February 28 and March 1, the 2019 Conclave on Automating Construction Projects was held at Institute of Construction and Infrastructure Management on ETH Hönggerberg campus.  The conclave was hosted by ETH, and was in collaboration with Cambridge University, TU Berlin, University of Waterloo, and NYU Abu Dhabi. 

Six professors gave keynote speeches on innovative ideas of developing methodologies and tools to automate construction projects. Also the doctoral students and postdoctoral students under the supervision of each professor presented their research work. The topics of work presented during the conclave are building information modeling, lean construction, construction robotics, digital supply chain management, deconstruction technologies and digital twins, etc.
