On Thursday, 08 June 2023, the E-Bike City research team invites you to our colloquium in Zurich. At this colloquium, the seven research groups will not only present their preliminary results, but also actively involve the participants in shaping the research questions. The workshops should be particularly exciting. With topics such as flexible public transport operation for short-term and unexpected fluctuations in demand (Workshop B), network design (Workshop C.1 and E), infrastructure guidelines (Workshop C.2), construction costs (Workshop I), environmental impacts (Workshop F), and political acceptance (Workshop G), there is sure to be something for everyone active in the field of sustainable transport and spatial planning. And after the workshops, there will be two exciting presentations from practice and science, as well as a panel discussion to bring all the topics discussed back together in the context of the vision of an e-bike city.
On Tuesday 13 June, there will also be a bike tour that will focus on planning issues around the topic of the "bike city".
